reNew is the premier wholly owned Ghanaian company, founded in 2006 by Miss Enam Akoetey in response to market opportunities created by global warming and resulting Climate Change. reNew is established to create carbon assets in the form carbon emission reduction credits through the Climate Change mitigation projects it develops. reNew will engage with fringe communities in its project areas and vulnerable communities threatened by the adverse impacts of global warming through Climate Change adaptation projects. reNew's carbon emission reduction credits will be retired on the Clean Development Mechanism or Voluntary Carbon Market platforms.

Registered and incorporated with the Registrar Generals Department in Accra on the 12th December 2006 – No 30324 under the Companies Code 1963(Act 179) and registered with Companies House, England & Wales as reeNew Ltd, incorporated on the 13th November 2007 – No 06425444 under Companies Code 2006.

reNew is founded on the tenets of Social and Ethical Entrepreneurship. reNew business model relies on harnessing the earth resources to create a sustainable and ethical concern. reNew strongly believes in creating social, environmental, and sustainable value in all its wealth creation business activities engendering ethical profits to all stakeholders in our value chain.
